We are back at it! Here’s a full list of all our classes.

Countless studies have demonstrated that exercise for seniors provides a significant decrease in depression and anxiety, significant improvement in quality of life, improvements in disability, physical impairments and pain for seniors living with osteoarthritis, significant reduction in mild cognitive impairment and significant reduction of the risk of falls. Our classes provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere for seniors to gather and train.

Classes with start the week of September 11, 2023

Mondays 10:00am - Our Lady of Fatima Church

Stretch and Breath - This class combines movement and mobility with the power of breath. Not quite yoga, not quite Tai Chi. This class is performed while using a chair.

Tuesdays 10am - Our Lady of Fatima Church

Strength and Mobility - This class focuses on movements that encourages healthy aging while developing more strength throughout the entire body. This class is performed with resistance bands and a yoga mat.

Wednesday 10am - Our Lady of Fatima Church

55+ Exercise - Our longest running class offers strength, endurance, mobility and balance training for those aged 55 and older. This class is performed with yoga bands, kettlebells, chairs and the use of a yoga mat (floor work) is optional.

Friday 10am - Our Lady of Fatima Church

Chair Yoga with Maureen - Follow the flow of traditional Yoga sequences, all done from the chair. There is a short meditation and relaxation at the end of class. This class is performed with the use of a chair. (straps are optional)

All classes except GLA:D are $7 cash per class. Punch pass of 10 is available.

Tuesday/Thursdays: GLA:D - Island Chiropractic & Family Wellness

GLA:D - By registration only. This national program focuses on improving pain and function for people living with osteoarthritis of the hip or knee. 6-week program, running twice a week. 13 sessions in total.
