Sometimes my kids don’t like eating in the mornings. I hate sending them off without something in the tank, here’s my go to recipe for getting some nutrients (hello high in protein) in them before they head off to start their day!
8-12 oz 2% milk (dairy or dairy-free)
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
6-7 frozen strawberries
1/2 cup 0% greek yougurt
shake of flax seed/chia
shake of lions mane mushroom powder
shake of collagen, unflavoured (if we have it, sometimes were out)
Blend - split and enjoy! Roughly 40 grams of protein in a full serving of this tasty smoothie! If you use the new “high protein” milk thats out it could be as high as 60!
